Oluwadamilola Akintewe became the only Nigerian in the top 10 finalists list for the Varkey Foundation, Chegg sponsored and UNESCO supported Inaugural Global Student Prize, dubbed as the students' Nobel out of over 3500 nominations from 94 countries.

She also was one of the top 10 global winners of the Peter Drucker Challenge on effective leadership in crisis management.

PROJECT
She won the inaugural Samantha Singh Award for young people aspiring to careers in development policy by ONE campaign.
She was the youngest in the 2020 "top 100 women creating a better Africa" list by We for Good international with the likes of Aya Chebbi (former AU Youth Envoy) and Chimamanda Adichie among others.
She is an Ashoka young Changemaker, a nominee in the Best Idea Category of 2018 Youth Citizenship Entrepreneurship Competition and named a "Next Generation Female CEO" by Sesewa and World Connect.
She has been selected for several international youth leadership conferences like International Youthopia Conference in Karachi, Pakistan 2018, the Global Education and Skills Forum Dubai, 2019 and participated in the World Innovation Summit for Education 2018 in Accra, Ghana.
She won the Miss Speaker Africa 2020 title, a fellow of the inaugural Margaret Ekpo Youth Fellowship against Gender Based Violence and a 2020 Ford Community Impact Fellow sponsored by Ford Fund Education.
She is also one of the 20 persons selected globally by Melton Foundation for the 2020 Global Solvers Co-Lab.
