PROJECT SAFE SCHOOL
While the world was busy with handling the COVID-19 pandemic and schools moved online, kids in rural, underserved and under developed communities were left behind due to lack of access to electricity, smart phones/laptops and internet to join their colleagues in urban areas for zoom or virtual learning.
To bridge an education gap that was created during this pandemic especially for students who as a result of poverty could not afford virtually schools, "Project Safe Schools" was launched featuring organized physical classes on important subjects for these kids while strictly maintaining social distancing.
Volunteers were recruited across 25 centers and so far, 529 students directly benefitted from the project leaving no child behind education wise.
